Osprey Flying Overhead

In the last two years Friends has installed four osprey nests with one more planned to complement the work of the FPCC. Our efforts to improve water quality and increase fish populations has helped the fish-eating osprey to thrive and start to colonize historic summer hunting grounds after habitat loss and polluted waters decimiated osprey populations a century ago.
