Be it Resolved

The resolution, which recognizes the inherent value of the Chicago River system states "a clean Chicago River system depends on both individual and municipal actions," was unanimously approved by the board. By approving the resolution the commissioners committed to participate personally in the program and to ask their constituents to sign up for Overflow Action Day alerts and conserve water when it rains. 

With enough support for Overflow Action Days, we can reduce combined sewer overflows to the river. PLEASE join our effort by signing up for Overflow Action Day e-alerts.
