Restoring Habitat for the Holidays
This Thanksgiving, we're most thankful for how beautifully the river system is responding to restoration efforts. Last week, Friends staff kicked off the holiday by scattering native seeds at Skokie Lagoons--which will bloom in the spring and rebuild local habitat.
